AI that works for your office and stays in your office.
Search your own documents and transcribe meetings with an AI model that runs on a computer in your office. Your files stay on your premises. Nothing is sent to outside AI services.
Fixed prices. Start with a one-week review for $750, credited toward the build.

Everything stays inside your office
The AI model runs on a computer that sits in your office. Your staff use it from their own desks. Your files never leave your network to reach an outside AI service.
The setup is designed to support your confidentiality obligations. We'll work with your compliance advisor on the details.
Review
In one week I look at your documents and daily work, recommend the right hardware and give you a fixed quote.
Set up
I install the AI on a machine in your office, connect it to your files and test it with your team.
Train and hand off
Your staff learn to use it. You get a plain-language write-up of how your data is handled.

Find the right clause, letter or past matter in seconds. Get a first summary of a long document to review yourself.
Medical and dental practices
Search policies, forms and procedures. Turn staff meetings and dictated notes into clean text.
Accounting and tax firms
Pull answers from engagement letters, workpapers and prior-year files without digging through folders.
Financial advisors
Transcribe client meetings and search your own notes and research, all on your own machine.
- Usually a team of about 3 to 15 people.
- Lots of documents spread across shared drives and inboxes.
- You've held off on AI tools because of client confidentiality.

Hi, I'm John Houghton.
I build and run private, on-device speech, vision and language systems on Apple Silicon in my own lab. I bring that same setup to your office, sized for your team.
I spent my career building data systems for large companies, including a regulated healthcare organization. I explain things plainly and leave you with something your team can use.

Common questions
What about HIPAA and client confidentiality?
Your data stays on your premises, and nothing is sent to outside AI services. The setup is designed to support your confidentiality obligations. I don't give legal advice or certify compliance, so we'll work with your compliance advisor on the details.
What hardware do we need?
Usually one capable computer that stays in your office. The Readiness Review recommends the right machine for your team size and budget. Hardware is billed at cost.
Is a local AI model good enough?
For searching your own documents, summarizing and transcription, today's local models do the job well. For some open-ended tasks, the big cloud tools are still stronger. The pilot lets you try it on your own files before you commit to more.
Will this disrupt our work?
No. Setup happens alongside your normal day, and your current files and systems stay where they are. The AI reads from them. It doesn't replace them.
What happens after setup?
You own the machine and the setup. You also get written notes on how it works. If you'd like me to keep it updated and running well, the Care Plan covers that month to month.
